Bear Vs. Train

(oh hello there.. me and peter J have been up late nights in the tent creating little stories.  you know, just a little something something to pass the time… how it works is, i write a sentence.. he writes a sentence… i write a sentence… etc. so here’s a little goody for your brains to process. enjoy)

Bear Vs. Train

The first sentence is always the hardest sentence.  I had to tell her something though.  I just stood there beside her, breathing in her perfume and running words through my head.  When you’re across the world being forced to serve in a war you don’t support; temptations creep in.  My mind wandered… thinking about death when she broke in with this suprising first sentence. “My mother called today, she says my sister is thinking about going to Harvard.”  The sentence itself wasn’t so suprising, but it was the way she said it. ”Darlin’, I’m going to come out and say it.” I stammered on, “You have the ugliest sounding voice i’ve ever heard.”  It came out all wrong and somehow I spurted that out.  She smiled and I had the pleasure of hearing that awful voice once more.  ”OK army boy, you ever hear about the train and the bear?”  ”Oh I see, I’m suprised you heard about that.”  It’s true, I had heard stories about a train running over a bear who fell asleep on the tracks.  The train was damaged beyond repair.

The End. By: Erik & Pete.

(now you try it… grab a friend and write some sentences! let the magic flow out of your brains.)
